For nearly 60 years, Tacoma Baptist Schools (TBS) has been developing disciples and leaders in the community. We are grateful for this long heritage of impacting families and students.
God has blessed the educational ministry of TBS with a reputation the extends beyond the South Sound. Our brand is one of biblically based academic excellence and extensive extracurricular activities, such as arts and athletics.
Celebrating six decades of Christ-centered service, we cordially invite you to our inaugural Breakfast of TBS Champions on Wednesday, December 4, 2019, at 8:00 AM. The breakfast will be held at the Hotel Murano (www.hotelmuranotacoma.com) located in downtown Tacoma. A formal invitation will be forthcoming.
TBS is in the business of building champions who are prepared for college, career and calling – ministry or military service. Providing this well-rounded education and opportunity for students comes at a cost exceeded by tuition dollars alone.
True to its mission and values, TBS has a heart for those who serve and are being served. Evidence of this is our commitment to provide faculty and staff with tuition remission, as well as military and ministry discounts, and general student need based financial aid. To help offset these important allowances TBS has a goal of raising $350,000.00 for 2020.
As a champion of Christian education, you have been instrumental in shaping the students and culture of TBS. At this event you will be given the opportunity to make a one-time tax-deductible donation and/or monthly pledge. For the cost of one Starbucks latte per day; or two bi-monthly work lunches; or one monthly business dinner, you will help ensure TBS can continue to provide spiritual development and quality education for generations to come.
Please join us for a full breakfast, networking event and brief program as we hear from students, faculty, and alumni about how TBS has changed their lives – for the good!
• Doors open at 7:15 AM with registration beginning at 7:30 AM – coffee and snacks will be provided while you meet and mingle.
• Breakfast service will begin at 7:45 AM with our program starting promptly at 8 AM.
• Free self-parking will be available at the Hotel Murano and the program will conclude at 9 AM.
• Following the event, TBS will provide campus tours for those interested starting at 10:15 AM and concluding by 11:30 AM. (Register online at www.tacomabaptist.org/breakfast or via RSVP)
As a thank you for your contribution, your names will be added as inaugural members to the TBS Wall of Champions in the school lobby. Your 2019 tax-deductible one-time gifts can be made onsite via check, credit/debit card, on-line or text, in addition to 2020 pledge payments.
